Interview with EL James author of 50 Shades Of Grey

So I'm watching Katie and her guest today is EL James, the author of 50 Shades of Grey. Mrs James it turns out is quite shy, but imaginative enough to have created such a cultural phenom. Thanks to this book, married couples are finding their once tipid relationships restored and there is even talk of a baby boom. Women seemed to have been waiting for permission to start a conversation and something to really pique their interest in sex again. Men on the other hand are having a love-hate(mostly love) relationship with the phenom. On the one hand its more sex, more interest and more of an effort from their partners. On the other hand, for a few guys, ego issues creep up in terms of how really was their performance before this book. Also the idea that women like very successful men and are more willing to accomodate them are some of the sentiments expressed. Critics claim that this book is humiliating and abusive to women. However, the author rightfully says that consenting adults engaging in legal, safe relationships are free to do whatever they enjoy behind closed doors. I must confess I have not read the book. I'll be sure to catch the movie.
